Carla Fernández has a special approach to clothing, bridging the gap between tradtitional Mexican communities and the world of high fashion.

She does not work seasonally; instead, she continually designs six parallel collections, devoting each to local communities. she draws inspiration from the signature patterns, shapes and textures of the varying ethnic groups, whilst establishing a network to support hand-made textiles.
